Screw it, I’ll do both. I felt so dumb after doing grades that I needed something to make me feel smarter. There is still a ton of talent out there, so let’s get into it.
Teven Jenkins-It actually pissed me off a bit that this kid didn’t get drafted. He won’t last long day 2 and will have a chip on his shoulder heading into his rookie year. The Jags, Bengals and Broncos are all in play here.
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah-I thought he could’ve snuck into the top-15 if a team loved him enough. He doesn’t quite have the size of Micah Parsons or Zaven Collins, but he makes up for it in his athleticism and coverage ability. I would love to see the Broncos get him if the Eagles don’t pick him up.
Trevon Moehring-Far and away the best safety in the class, but it was easy to see him falling out of the first round with a lack of hungry teams. I could see the Jags, Lions or Cowboys scooping him up early on.
Asante Samuel Jr-He’s got the bloodline and the resume to go early in the second round. I’m looking at the Jets, Falcons and Eagles to pick him up early on today.
Christian Barmore-How nobody picked up this behemoth of a human in the first round is beyond me. With a lack of teams that need beef in the middle of their D-line at the top of the 2nd, I could see him continue to fall to Dallas if some team (such as the Bills) doesn’t jump up and take him.
Azeez Ojulari-Dudes who didn’t have the measurables were left alone throughout the first round. He might not have the sand in the ass like some other edge rushers, but Azeez Ojulari has the athleticism to start for any team. He might fall a bit in the second round too if the Jets pass up on him.
Liam Eichenberg-Another undersized position player with a ton of talent, Liam Eichenberg won’t have to wait too long after Teven Jenkins to hear his name called.
Nick Bolton-He won’t wait much longer after JOK comes off the board either. He’s got all of the intangibles you look for in a linebacker. If we don’t get JOK, I’d gladly take Nick Bolton on the Broncos.
Javontae Williams-There is a ton of buzz around this kid as potentially the best running back in this class. He’s vertically challenged, but is a downhill wreckingball. I could easily see the Dolphins scooping him up at 4.
Landon Dickerson-The best center in the class is still out there, but there are not a ton of needy teams. He could potentially slide down to the Giants at 11.
