Creighton+5@St. Johns (150)

There are rat lines, and then there are desperation heaves from Vegas. This one feels like the latter. St. Johns has been very frisky at home, and just screwed us over last Friday by beating the piss out of Butler, but Creighton finally showed me something by holding off a pressing Marquette team at home in a dog fight. I expect the same tonight one way or another, so take the points, sprinkle the ML. The value is just too good here.

Wake Forest-2.5@Clemson

The Deacs got a big win against Notre Dame this last weekend and play a Tiger team that’s lost 6 games in a row and 11 of their last 13. Wake Forest just needs to avoid disaster in their final 3 games to clinch a tourney spot.

Drake@Valporaiso over 137.5

Drake is practically a lock to score at least 75 in MVC play, especially against a Valpo team in the bottom half of the nation in Defensive efficiency. Can Valporaiso score enough to get the over? They average 70 per game themselves and face a middle of the pack defense in Drake. Life’s too short.

Chattanooga-3@ETSU

With back to back losses, the Mocs have fallen out of my “wagon” category for mid-majors, and the race for the Southern title is now open for Furman, but I expect a get right game against a shitty ETSU team. No future campus visits will be wagered at this time.

Butler@Seton Hall over 129.5

With two teams in the top half of the country in offensive efficiency and a Seton Hall team that averages 75 points per game…this line scares the piss out of me. Either Vegas knows something we don’t, or they’re overreacting to Seton Hall losing 2 straight then squeaking one out to Depaul. Let’s hope it’s the latter.

Not a great lineup tonight, so maybe walk the doggo if you’re in a warm state, shovel some snow if you’re in a miserable state, or earn some brownie points with your significant other until the game of the century at 7:00. Love you, bye.
