Friday Vibes

I’m going to read the room and not call what happened on Wednesday a “war” with Vegas…but it was a grind in terms of betting. We followed that up with a positive day yesterday to break even between the two days. There’s a TON of good games tomorrow, so we’ve got some crumbs to take care of today.

Too Long, Didn’t read

Game of the Night: St. Louis@Richmond(-3) (142)

Picks
Akron+7.5
St. Louis +3
App State +1.5
Texas State/Troy over 127.5
Iowa/Nebraska under 161.5

Game of the Night

St Louis+3@Richmond (142)

I’ve griped about the bullshit narrative against the A-10 and this game is a perfect example of it. I would say these two teams are very much on the outside looking in and could steal an at-large bid if some bubble teams slip up, but in most brackets, neither of these teams are included in the next 8 teams. I think St. Louis is the better team and has a better chance of stealing a bid, I like the value with them tonight.

Picks

Akron+7.5@Ohio (132.5)

This might be a spite pick because Ohio has burned me several times this year, but Akron is also putting together sneaky good season. They hit a rough stretch where they lost 3 in a row two weeks ago, but beat the piss out out of Eastern Michigan and Bowling Green in a couple get right games. They could be a good dark horse to win the Mac, I like them to cover the 7.5 tonight.

Appalachian State+1.5@Arkansas State (133)

The dawgs are barkin’ today. Both of these teams have hit a rough patch as of late, but App State still needs a win to hold onto the two seed heading into the conference tournament. Hungry dogs run faster.

Texas State@Troy over 127.5

Both teams score 70ish points a game and neither are exactly defensive juggernauts. This total makes no sense, so go ahead and snap my neck bookies.

Iowa@Nebraska under 161.5

Like I always say: #LifesTooShortToBetTheUnderUnlessOneOfThoseTeamsIsNebraskaAndTheTotalIsOver160ThenBetTheUnder. Rolls right off the tongue.

102 blogs and counting. We’re just getting warmed up for conference tournament action and then the big dance. Have a great weekend. Love you, bye.
