1 Baylor vs 16 Norfolk State
I’m really good at picking these.
8 North Carolina vs 9 Marquette
A battle of two extremely overrated teams…I’ll take the team who has the better win in the last two weeks in UNC.
5 Saint Mary’s vs 12 Wyoming (as predicted by the Morning Flush)
YoU gOtTa HaVe A 12 oVeR 5…fine. I’ll take my boys. It’s my bracket, not yours.
4 UCLA vs 13 Akron
Look… I love MACtion as much as the next guy…but Akron was definitely not the most dominant team in the MAC all year. I get they have to be a 13 seed, but they’re a weak 13 seed. Hammer UCLA.
6 Texas vs 11 Virginia Tech
Wyoming probably gets a bye if it weren’t for the Hoakies ACC run. I like Texas’ defense to end their run in the first round though.
3 Purdue vs 14 Yale
I think Yale is a bit overseeded. I would’ve put them at 15 and moved either Delaware, Wright State or Bryant up to 14. I think the latter 2 could’ve had a chance to pull an upset, but I’ll take Purdue to cruise here.
7 Murray State vs 10 San Francisco
I hate that we have to see two mid-majors in the first round, but I’m still on the San Francisco is overrated and shouldn’t be in the tournament bandwagon. Racers by a billion.
2 Kentucky vs 15 Saint Peter’s
I’ve been saying it feels like a Cal year this year and he gets a pretty nice draw in the first round. Saint Peter’s should be a 16 seed (play in?). They were the 3rd or 4th best team for most of the year in the MAAC.

1 Baylor vs 8 North Carolina
Still good at picking 1 seeds. Look at this. This game won’t be as close as Gonzaga/Boise State.
12 Wyoming vs 4 UCLA
Call it a pipe dream, I’ll call it an overrated UCLA team playing the best duo in the nation (without Mountain West refs).
6 Texas vs 3 Purude
Alright, finally we’re having some fun away from the chalk. I love Texas’ defense, they’re not exactly the longest group, so they’ll have some problems with Zach Eady, but I like them to keep Jaden Ivey in check.
7 Murray State vs 2 Kentucky
A battle for bragging rights in Kentucky, I expect this to be much closer than most people think. A bunch of juniors and seniors who dreamt of playing at Kentucky against one of the most talented teams in the country. I have Kentucky barely beating Murray State and Cal giving a long handshake, grabbing the other coaches arm and telling him how much he “respects” his program.

1 Baylor vs 12 Wyoming
All dreams must come to an end. Jeff Linder is building something special in Laradise, I can’t wait to see what this team looks like next year.
6 Texas vs 2 Kentucky
I love Texas’ defense, but they’re going to get overwhelmed in this game. I unfortunately don’t think it’ll even be close.
Elite Eight
1 Baylor vs 2 Kentucky
It really pains me to keep highlighting Kentucky, but this isn’t a team comprised mostly of one and dones like we’ve seen from Cal’s teams in the past. They have just 1 freshman in their starting 5. They’re experienced, and unfortunately, one of the most talented teams in the country. I have them going to the Final Four to face our darling Arkansas Razorbacks.
