I’m starting to realize how much my life revolves around football and college basketball, so it pains me to look at the calendar and see how close we are to the end of this magical season. There might’ve been some snoozers this weekend, but you still better have watched until your eyeballs bled before it’s too late.
Shockers
God bless the tournament, and God bless the St. Peter’s Peacocks. They faced 2 blue-bloods and beat one, a Murray State team that consistently makes the tournament and a flagship B1G basketball program in Purdue…and made it to the Elite Eight, outrageous run. UNC is a wagon.
I’m not sure the tournament will effect Chet Holmgren’s draft stock, but it might. He fouled out of the Zags’ last two games and had a combined 17 points and looked overwhelmed in the both games. Eric Mussleman is the best coach in the NCAA–change my mind.
Kansas has had the most impressive month of any team left in the tournament. Since they lost to TCU, they’ve won 9 straight, including wins against some of the best defensive teams in the country in Texas and Texas Tech, a frisky Creighton team and a Providence squad that has a horseshoe shoved up its ass, allegedly. I’m terrified for our Villanova future.
Nova survived its biggest test in front of a 90% Houston crowd in San Antonio with ease and showed why they’ll be a tough out for anyone after making all of their free throws.
That’s all the Final Four teams, none others worth mentioning.
Our Futures
Our Arkansas future may have fell short despite a valiant effort, but our Villanova future is still holding up. The loss of Justin Moore is a huge blow ahead of a matchup with Kansas, who is hands down the deepest team left in the tournament, but all you need is a chip and a chair…and we’re riding the best free throw shooting team in the country.

San Antonio is an incredible spot for this tournament, 10/10 would recommend. It showed us a great time, I can’t wait to go back.
I’m tired, I’m hungover, my body hurts. That’s the cost of showbiz baby. Soak up every minute of content before this last stretch of the tournament is a memory. Love you, bye.

The riverwalk is absolutely beautiful!!
