Fresno State might be the best group of 5 team in the country, but this schedule is absolutely brutal. They play a good Oregon State team at home, then turn around and play USC on the road to open up the season, then play Boise State on the road to open up conference play. Luckily for the Bulldogs, the West division in the Mountain West looks terrible this year, but this team should be thinking New Years 6 bowl game with virtually their entire stacked roster returning.
50/50 games
I’m fucking jacked for the Mountain West to stick it to the poverty conference that is the Pac-12, and our 2022 flagship program has two matchups with them. They should go 1-1, but if they go 2-0 there should be a legitimate conversation about them taking a New Years 6 bowl game. The Milk Can trophy will have more stakes than ever this year with Boise State poised to make a run at a NY6 game themselves. San Diego State and Wyoming are always tough games as well. Without a doubt, if Fresno State finds themselves in a significant bowl game in December, they earned it.
