A little better day at 4-3 yesterday if you count the sprinkles from twitter (@morning_flush), but what incredible games to start March off with a bang. Michigan easily took care of little brother, Providence clawed back from a 14 point deficit and went shot for shot with Villanova down the stretch until Nova went 7-8 from the charity stripe to put them away (which might win them a natty). Nebraska showed us how overrated Ohio State is, and we finally got a marquee game that lived up to its hype with Purdue@Wisconsin. It felt like March Madness with Jaden Ivey hitting an equalizing three after future B1G player of the year Johnny Davis banked in a miracle with 28 seconds left. Chucky Hepburn then hit a dagger with 3 seconds left to give Wisconsin the B1G crown. It was an unbelievable night for the power conferences, but we’ve got some tasty nuggets with the mid-major conferences today.
Too Long, Didn’t Read

Game of the Night
SF Austin+6@New Mexico State (139.5)
I had to put at least one dawg in here. SF Austin bit us in the ass last week against Sam Houston State and have won 8 in a row. New Mexico State has fallen off a little bit, going 3-2 in their last 5, but they’ve yet to lose at home in conference play. If NMSU loses it will create a 3-way log jam for the WAC regular season title between themselves, Seattle and this SF Austin team. I like our chances to cover here if we take the points.
Picks
Western Kentucky-2@Marshall (153)
Both Vegas and I are leery of a frisky Marshall team as home dawgs. Western Kentucky has been hot, winning 7 in a row before falling to a wagon of a team in Middle Tennessee a few nights ago. This is also a peculiar situation with these teams squaring off again in 3 nights. I’ll go with the more rounded team in WKU tonight, but I’m also leaning toward the under while both teams feel each other out.
Middle Tennesse-2@Charlotte (139)
We’re falling right into a trap with this one. Middle Tennessee is in the middle of a 5 team log jam for a surprisingly competitive Conference USA title. They’ve been shit-pumping inferior teams, so I’m moderately confident with this chalk pick.
Presbyterian@Campbell-4 (125)
This line makes absolutely no sense. Campbell is the 4th best team in this top-heavy conference right after Winthrop, Longwood and Gardner-Webb, and they’re capable of upsetting any of those teams. This line has already moved from -3, so get it before it moves again.
Marquette-2@Depaul (150.5)
I’m not sold on Marquette as a 7 seed in some loser’s brackets, but I am sold on DePaul’s 3-6 record at home against the Big East.
I can’t believe I have this many favorites, but what can you do? You take what the board gives you. I’m watching NC A&T@Radford as we speak, so soak up as much basketball as you can before we go dancin’. Love you, bye.
